Highly engineered seeded gel abrasives outperform commodity-like abrasive grains in heavy-duty industrial applications because a single layer of abrasive grains typically cannot be expected to stand up to extreme temperatures for extended periods of time without becoming dull or breaking off at the bonding point. With their uniform, sub-micro crystal microstructures, seeded gel abrasives are able to provide sharp cutting surfaces on a microscopic scale, which enable faster, cooler cutting action, and extended grain life. Alumina zirconia grains also are well suited for heavy-duty stock removal applications due to their extreme ruggedness.

Because of their unique nano-structure, Cerpass XTL® and Cerpass DGE® seeded gel abrasives enable aggressive cutting and long-lasting ceramic grains ideal for high or low-pressure, tough-to-grind applications.
